The reinforced concrete lintels could be shaped in the form of a outer lancet window that could be fitted onto the protective water proof membrane and the window itself. Although, I understand why its better not to see some of them in use as most of the fireplaces are a direct cause of fire hazards, which in turn are responsible for a lot of country houses to go up in flames in the past. It's such a breath of fresh air to finally see the outer walls without the scaffolding. As a person who spends a great portion of her life in the historical world, words can't describe how pleased I am to see that the castle has not only been saved but brought back to some of its former glory.
